arconsis was founded in late 2005 by Achim Baier and Wolfgang Frank, inspired by their shared vision of mobile computing and agile software development. They were sparked to explore innovative technologies for integrating enterprise software with mobile devices through their weekend project PIAT - Putting It All Together.
From the start, arconsis had a clear mission: to drive innovation and build a company that was more than just an employer. It was intended to be a place where like-minded people could come together to shape the future of IT.

Partnering with a major German IT company enabled arconsis to share the brand and gain shareholder status in a new entity. Achim and Wolfgang led the southern operations, building a team of around 25 software engineers in Pforzheim, Stuttgart, and Munich.

The 2009 global financial crisis forced Achim and Wolfgang to revive their original business plan.
Johannes Tysiak joined as a shareholder, sharing the same vision.
In early 2010, the arconsis brand was revitalized, and a new headquarters was established in the Karlsruher Technologiefabrik, marking a new chapter in the company's history.

Over the years, the company has expanded its employee count and expertise, establishing itself as a hidden champion in IT and software. Major customers and innovative projects have contributed to this growth, alongside a relocation to new offices in Karlsruhe in 2015 and the opening of a Stuttgart branch in 2016.

arconsis successfully increased its workforce and established the FC Campus as its headquarters. The company expanded its portfolio to concentrate on AI, Machine Learning, Mobile Solutions, and Agile Software Engineering. Additionally, during this period, arconsis opened branches in Frankfurt and Greece.

arconsis combines experienced technology veterans with talented young minds, focusing on AI solutions, cloud-native technologies, digital product ideation and Mobile Enterprise.
